City of Bryant Intends to Apply for a Grant

On or about December 15, 2019 City of Bryant in Saline County intends to apply for a grant from the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Grant Program through the Natural Resources Division. These funds are to be used for a Flood Mitigation Project to acquire and demolish 1 structures in the FEMA Delineated Floodplain to prevent future flooding damage.

Information related to this project will be available for review prior to December 1, 2019 at the offices of Central Arkansas Planning & Development District, Inc., 902 N. Center Street, Lonoke, Arkansas 72086 between the hours of 8:00-4:30.

Public participation is an important part of City of Bryant flood mitigation planning process and citizens of City of Bryant are encouraged to submit comments and questions.

Written comments and questions should be submitted to Tanya Childers, City of Bryant’s authorized Agent at P. O. Box 300, Lonoke, AR 72086, no later than December 1, 2019 in order to ensure placement of such comments in the official record of the public notice process.
