

The Central Arkansas Planning and Development District, established in 1968, is a non-profit, multi-county, multi-purpose, and multi-funded Planning and Development Organization serving Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Pulaski and Saline Counties.

OUR PROGRAMS
Working with a variety of funding sources, staff members assist cities and counties with applications for grant funds, and administer the projects once they are funded.
The Central Arkansas Regional Solid Waste Management District is one of eighteen districts across the State of Arkansas. The District service area includes the three counties of Lonoke, Monroe, and Prairie.
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federal funded program that connects Americans to high wage sustainable jobs. Through training and educational opportunities, our goal is to increase the workforce pipeline to create an environment where businesses succeed and people secure employment at a higher wage, leading to the enhancement to their quality of life.
